What is an Anti-Capitalist Business?
An Anti-Capitalist business is one that prioritises the environment and personal well-being over profit. On the other hand, a Capitalist business (or just a normal business in this capital world we live in) prioritises profits, no matter the cost.
The Capitalist framework has led to devastating environmental impact and overworked and underpaid staff. This system rewards people for compromising their mental health, and builds an expectation to work far more than you get paid, just to be considered a good employee.
Being an exploited employee, starting your own business can be a great solution. But it’s very easy to fall into building a capitalist business yourself when you don’t know there’s an alternative.
An Anti-Capitalist business has a few fundamentals. You prioritise your health and well-being, you don’t use fear or insecurity tactics in your marketing, you consume responsibly, you earn a comfortable salary without being greedy, and you ensure yourself a healthy work-life balance.

Hey there! I’m Ayla, an entrepreneur and author who’s incredibly passionate about driving change. I currently own/co-own 3 small businesses, all dedicated to fighting capitalism to make a positive change for people and our environment.
I don’t feel good in myself when I help unethical companies make millions of dollars. Instead, I want to use my marketing powers for good, and help grow ethical small businesses with my professional guidance.
How Does It Work?
Marketing is a complex beast with so many turning cogs. To make sure you get the most out of your mentorship, I start by understanding the stage of your business and your marketing skill level and work from there. While most people want to jump straight into paid advertising, it’s important to get the rest of your assets in line first to give your business the best chance at success.
The initial consultation is a meet and greet (with no cost) to make sure we are a good fit. If it feels right for both of us we can then move into mentorship sessions! Mentorship sessions run for 60 minutes, with a cost of $150 USD/ €160 Euros, and you can book them straight in my calendar from the website. There are four places held each month offered to those who need the services but can’t afford the rate. If this is you please let me know in the initial meeting and we can work something out for you. This is on a trust basis and you will never need to prove that you have low income.
I’ve personally found it works best with weekly meetings to keep you on track and making progress, but you can choose whatever frequency works best for you. There are no lock-in contracts, and you can book up to 60 days in advance.
